The built-in retractable hood adds a tiny bit of bulk
with light surface wear and a few spots of chrome corrosion
with an effective image stabilizer and a bit more wide-angle reach than your usual 18-to-whatever standard lens
so compatibility is somewhat limited: it will mount to pre-AI bodies like the F and F2
