Greatly appreciated for its magnificent white flowers gradually turning dark pink in the fall. They also make pretty bouquets of dried flowers. The shrub is very resistant to Quebec winter conditions and tolerates urban environments well. It is pruned as needed late in the fall or very early in the spring.
