Casa Raia Brunello di Montalcino - 2014 (750ml) Finger Lakes Wathen’s “Single Barrel” Kentucky StraightMedium deep towards tawny colour. Intense nose offering some new oak, vanilla, spices, dried fruit, cherry and plum. The palate is generous and ample combining sweet dried fruit flavours with plenty of spice and a healthy freshness underneath, rich in tannin but no hard edges, should develop nicely. 92 points, Andreas Larson
