The base of the inkwell have a corresponding engraved roundel containing twin silver inlaid birds

one side with a repousse work image of Windsor Castle

the baluster shaped body decorated with incised 'teardrop' motifs

The base has corresponding stylized floral silver dot inlay and calligraphy

It is rare to find a cloisonn enamel snuff bottle with a Qianlong reign mark, and only a small number seem to be recorded, particularly ones made from solid gold.
