The upper has a calf leather ¾ lining and insock and is blake stitched to a leather sole with an inlaid rubber heel piece

with one single piece of calf leather from the prime cut of the hide forming the upper

This replaces the traditional insole board with a leather 'sock' giving the boot greater flexibility and comfort.
